A Place Called Happiness CD Release Tour started with a blast. NiteTrain was sold out and made almost their all time record. Promoter Juska and DJ Kaasi are superb nice guys and very professional, so everything was once again went very smoothly from Kaasi's great warm-up set to great lighting and PA. Rovaniemi seems to always be rocking and the university guarantees amazingly international crowd which seems to love electronic music. Kalajoki is the Ibiza of Finland. If you haven't visited yet, make sure to stop by in July and be amazed. Dyyni is also a great venue with lovely owners and hospitality second to none. The party was great with DJ Orion providing great swedish house influenced warm-up set and crowd being up for it all the way till the end. In Lahti the famous hard dance club Fury celebrated it's first anniversary in October and did it with an open mindedly selected line-up. It's not often that you have full on trance, prychedelic trance, drum'n'bass, nu skool breakz and progressive trance in same room and in that order! Lahti also has always great crowd and the more uptempo stuff seems to work well so the set was spiced up with ducth tech trance and some full on trance. This was my first visit to Savonlinna and it prooved to be a small but full of good vibes. Promoter Marko always puts great events and is brave enough to break some new ground with going to places and venues not used before. Reef was nice venue, there a nice crowd of 250 people and local DJ Kapa provided a great warm up set. I got to play 2,5h of progressive trance and some more full on stuff. The amount of smoke at the end of the night reminded me of the good old days of illegal night raves! Tune of the night: The Killers: Mr. Brightside (Thin White Duke remix)

The official record release event drew Hallmark's record crowd and ques of nearly 100m! The line-up, production, hospitality and vibe was great as always at Hallmark. Helsinki house maestro Mr.A showed that he can rock the floor even at full on trance club with playing deep tribal and proggy stuff with a trancey vibe and doing a perfect warm up. It was also great to see so many friends from years back coming to say hello and even getting wild on the dance floor. My set was trancey all the way from David West's and Andy Moor's new stuff to full on dutch tracks from men of the moment Sander van Doorn and and Marco V.
